
This Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program prepares students for entry-level employment in healthcare settings. The program is completed in 3 to 6 weeks, depending on daily instructional hours, and combines classroom instruction, skills lab training, and supervised clinical experience.
This training prepares students to work as nurse aides in a variety of healthcare environments, including nursing homes, hospitals, clinics, assisted living facilities, and home health settings.
Upon satisfactory completion of the program, students will receive a Certificate of Completion for the Nurse Aide Training Program and approval to take the Prometric Texas Nurse Aide Exam.

The Nurse Aide Training and Competency Clinical Evaluation Program is a two to three-week course that prepares students for various healthcare settings. Students complete 40 hours of direct patient care in a nursing facility, gaining hands-on experience. This program is designed to equip students with the skills needed to work in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, clinics, in-home care, and assisted living facilities.
This course is designed to equip nurse aides with the essential skills, knowledge, and abilities required to provide basic care to residents in nursing facilities. It emphasizes fostering effective communication and interaction with residents and their families. The course also aims to assist residents in maintaining their functional independence while upholding and safeguarding their rights at all times. Additionally, students will learn to observe and report changes in residents’ conditions and function effectively as a member of a care team.
